We’ve been working on an exciting new debate platform inviting fans to discuss football.
Shown above is the neutral mother brand, (the Maltese Football Association have adapted it to sit within their brand colours), and the concepts created to gain traffic to the site. The idea was to create a community (via the virtual stadium) allowing world wide engagement between fans about the bigger issues – and put the focus on the supporters instead of the players. Included is online chat forums, news and alerts for following your teams.
Fans can keep updated on their teams, create a profile page and choose to sit next to other supporters on their main page (join groups) with a comment section being the main purpose of engagement. The aim was to have the site include new opinion pieces, inviting debate – with flyer ideas within the brand (deliberately done with a DIY feel as opposed to the champaign look of modern football), and emails sent out with both sides of the argument.
The platform aims to give a much needed voice to real fans.
